They are currently seeking a paralegal to support their senior fee earners in handling complex wills, estates, and trusts for high-net-worth individuals. Overview

• Job Title: Private Client Paralegal
• Location: Manchester

• Reports to: Partner – Head of Private Client
• Previous experience: Prior exposure to private client work would be ideal, though is not absolutely necessary as the Partners are equally willing to consider candidates from other practice areas as well as exceptional candidates who have recently graduated from university or law school. All applicants must have excellent academics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Solicitors and Partners in estate administration (probate) work.
• Draft legal documents, including Wills and Powers of Attorney.
• Engage with clients and maintain effective communication.
• Contribute to the creation and administration of Trusts.
• Provide general support, including legal research.

This is a client-facing role, so the Partners are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills. As you progress, take on more complex, high-value work while developing your own caseload.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable interest in private client law, with a solid understanding of trusts law and probate.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Previous experience in a Private Client team is advantageous, but candidates with outstanding academics and a passion for this field are also encouraged to apply.
