This is a fantastic opportunity with ‘top tier’ team handling caseload of fast track as well as some multi track EL/PL work for major insurers and corporates. Examples of work include a broad mix of cases including some more complex matters arising out of accidents at work.

• Previous experience: Candidates with litigated EL/PL experience. We are looking to speak with experienced litigation executives or solicitors with roughly 0-2 PQE. That said, this is only given as an indication. All levels of experience will be considered.

Focus on Casualty EL/PL work across a number of sectors

The team specialises in defending casualty EL/PL claims on behalf of major insurance companies as well as other clients in the public and private sector.

As a guide, the successful candidate will:

• Progress their own caseload of fast track and multi track EL/PL matters from cradle to grave with supervision;
• make early liability assessments on matters and be able to come to a decision on liability.
• assess quantum.
• Draft pleadings as well as witness statements and instructions to counsel
• Attend in conference and trials
