Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licenced Conveyancer / Legal Executive – The residential conveyancing team of this leading, national law firm is looking for a residential property solicitor or licensed conveyancer who has a passion for residential real estate and is looking to build a long-term career with one of the most respected players in the London market.

- Previous Experience: 1-3 PQE. Around one year or more of experience as a residential property solicitor. Experience of handling a caseload of sale and purchase residential conveyancing files from start to finish. Experience of dealing with high-net-worth individuals and investors would also be useful.
Residential Property Solicitor London – Overview of team
The department itself has an excellent national reputation and services its residential property clients from key offices around the country. Work includes:
- freehold and leasehold acquisitions, disposals and refinance
- Acting for high street mortgage lenders
- dealing with commercial finance
- Advising on title matters
- Preparing and signing lender Certificates of Title
- Providing support to other teams on residential property matters within the firm such as Private Client, Corporate and Restructuring.
The team receives work from a portfolio of private clients, including high net worth investors and national referrers, who ensure a steady supply of quality work. The team works closely with the development team and commercial property team in areas such as plot sales but also larger transformative residential property projects.
In particular, any experience of acting for high-net-worth individuals and high value transactions would be useful as well as experience of commercial / development finance and plot sales. However, this is not a critical requirement.
Candidate experience
Ideally, the role is best suited to a Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced fee earner with at least one year of solid experience, handling a Residential Property caseload.
However, due to the demand of Conveyancing fee earners, our client is also prepared to consider applications from newly qualified conveyancers who are able to demonstrate a solid background in Conveyancing having gained experience during their training contract or previously as a paralegal.
Applications will also be considered from Licensed Conveyancers and Legal Executives, who are committed to forging a career in Residential Property.
