Blend of contentious and non-contentious regulatory work
The Regulatory team handles a mix of on contentious and non-contentious regulatory work. On the non-contentious side, lawyers advise clients on important regulatory matters such as health and safety protocols, environmental regulations and other policies to ensure companies maintain compliance. The team helps implement workable policies and schemes to make sure clients remain compliant and adhere to the law wherever necessary. The department is responsible to writing, producing and applying regulatory policies particularly for businesses which are at a high risk of exposure.
The contentious work undertaken by the firm is often extremely high-profile, sometimes involving organisations who may be subject to criminal prosecutions due to a breach of their regulatory responsibilities.
