This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded Partner, handling cases related to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) investigations, corporate manslaughter, environmental breaches, and food safety regulations.

Exciting role for anyone looking to develop experience as a regulatory solicitor
We are seeking a Regulatory Solicitor or Legal Executive with expertise in HSE inquests and motor crime to join a prestigious law firm who is currently conducting a national recruitment campaign.
While candidates with 1+ PQE are preferred, Newly Qualified Solicitors (NQs) with a passion for regulatory work will also be considered. If you have experience in HSE or motor crime cases, we would love to hear from you.

What to expect
- Collaborating with a lead Partner in the regulatory team
- Reviewing and analysing prosecution evidence
- Drafting witness statements
- Critically analysing and summarising client evidence
- Liaising with key bodies like the Coroner’s Office, CQC, HSE, Police, and other regulators
- Instructing experts and preparing defence case statements, sentencing bundles, and mitigation bundles
- Attending interviews under caution and conferences with Counsel
- Assisting in trials and inquests
- Preparing detailed follow-up notes on case outcomes
What the Partners are looking for
- Previous HSE or motor crime legal experience
- Demonstrated interest in regulatory law
- Completed at least one training contract seat in regulatory work (for NQs)
- Strong critical analysis and client communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously with support from the Partner
