PROPERTY LIABILITY ASSOCIATE 1-5 PQE – MANCHESTER
Property Liability Associate – The expanding property and liability team of this top national and international firm is looking for an associate with a strong litigation skill set to add further strength to the department. This is an area of law which demands a strong background in commercial dispute resolution and the team is looking to recruit a robust litigator who can really excel. Candidates will be considered from a broad background and anyone with a background in commercial litigation should apply. The Partners are also interested to here from those with general personal injury or insurance litigation expertise.

- Previous Experience: PQE is only given as an indication of experience. A strong background in commercial litigation would be ideal, but our client is also ready to consider those with good personal injury / insurance litigation experience.
HIGH QUALITY TECHNICAL LITIGATION
The Manchester team works closely with the London office, which, in turn forms part of the wider national and international team advising high value, complex subrogated loss matters, policy coverage disputes and fraud. The firm advises most if not all of the top insurance houses in the market on national and international disputes.
A WIDE VARIETY OF COMPLEX WORK
Instructions might include claims relating to fire damage, chemical leaks, water escapes as well as construction and engineering disputes. Such claims are often high-value, complex and highly sensitive. The team is renowned for its ability to handle demanding, large-scale contentious matters and has a formidable range of experience on which to draw.
EXCELLENT TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING AND COMMERCIAL APPROACH
Candidates must be bright, ambitious and driven with an excellent technical understanding of commercial disputes. Previous property liability or commercial insurance experience would be an obvious advantage though this is rare skill set in the market. Therefore, the team would also be interested in hearing from those with a more generic litigation background including commercial litigation and insurance litigation.
