A highly regarded insurance litigation practice is seeking a Property Damage Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) to join its growing Manchester team.

Complex property damage and subrogated recovery work
You will join a successful and expanding team recognised for handling complex property damage and insurance disputes across a broad range of sectors.

Working closely with colleagues across Manchester, Birmingham and London, you will gain experience handling a diverse range of high-profile matters for leading insurer clients.
Expect full range of commercial insurance disputes
You will assist on, and progressively take ownership of, a broad range of disputes, including:
- High-value property damage claims arising from fire, flood and escape of water incidents
- Construction-related losses and disputes
- Environmental and chemical damage claims
- Subrogated recovery actions
- Insurance coverage disputes
- Commercial insurance litigation
- Contractual and broader commercial disputes
As your experience develops, you will take increasing responsibility for managing matters and advising clients directly.
Ideal candidate profile
Applications are welcomed from NQs, trainee solicitors due to qualify, and solicitors up to 4 years’ PQE. You will ideally have:
- Experience gained within a litigation seat or litigation role
- Exposure to insurance litigation, property damage, recoveries or commercial disputes (beneficial but not essential)
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- A genuine interest in developing a career within insurance litigation and property damage work
