Property Damage Associate – Fantastic role within Manchester Property Damage team. Candidate should have at least 1 PQE or more. The team handles some of the most complicated commercial litigation on behalf of major insurers and corporates.

- Previous Experience: Previous experience of property damage, or general commercial insurance litigation / subrogated loss would be ideal. Other areas of interest include general commercial litigation as well as areas such as debt recovery. Any experience of large-scale property damage / liability disputes would be a major advantage.

The firm advises all the major top insurance houses in the market on national and international disputes. This property liability department is based in Manchester city centre and forms part of the wider national and international commercial litigation team.
Instructions might include claims relating to:
- fire damage;
- chemical leaks;
- water escapes;
- construction and engineering disputes.
Such claims are often high-value, complex and highly sensitive. The team is renowned for its ability to handle demanding, large-scale contentious matters and has a formidable range of experience on which to draw.

This expanding team has two property damage solicitors jobs in Manchester for solicitors with roughly 1 PQE or more. The Partners are looking for adept litigators with excellent technical ability.
In particular, the Partners are looking for candidates with a mix of the following:
- strong litigation skills
- Ideally exposure to insurance liability and coverage work;
- strong attention to detail;
- focus on high-level client service delivery.
Property damage transferable skills
All applicants should have a proven background in litigation, whether that be in commercial litigation or commercial insurance litigation eg property damage; professional indemnity or another area of reinsurance / subrogated loss.
The team has also recruited candidates with a more general commercial litigation background including areas with a transferable skill set such as debt recovery.
