Personal injury lawyer – Manchester – This leading team is looking for a solicitor or unqualified fee earner to handle a mix of EL/PL work from fast track to multi track work.

- Job Title: Solicitor, Legal Executive or Litigation Executive
- Location: Manchester
- Salary: to £36,000
- Work pattern: Hybrid
- Reports to: Partner / Team Leader
- Previous experience: Candidates with litigated EL/PL experience. We are looking to speak with experienced litigation executives, legal executives or solicitors with roughly 0-2 PQE. That said, this is only given as an indication. All levels of experience will be considered.
Personal injury solicitor – EL/PL – what to expect
The role is intended to involve mainly handling a caseload of fast track and multi track work. As a guide, the successful candidate will:
- Progress their own caseload of fast track and multi track EL/PL matters from cradle to grave with supervision;
- make early liability assessments on matters and be able to come to a decision on liability.
- assess quantum.
- Draft pleadings as well as witness statements and instructions to counsel
- Attend in conference and trials
Work varies from slips ‘n’ trips to more complex accidents at work across a range of sectors. It is worth noting that the Partner who heads the team handles a caseload of catastrophic injury / large loss work.
