Multi-Track RTA Solicitor

A leading national personal injury practice is seeking a Multi-Track RTA Solicitor to join its growing Manchester team.
This is an excellent opportunity to handle complex, high-value motor claims for major insurer clients while developing your expertise within a highly regarded and supportive litigation team.
The role would suit a solicitor with experience in motor litigation who is looking to progress their career through exposure to more technical, strategic and higher-value work.
A step up to more complex work
You will join a specialist motor team handling a broad range of litigated Road Traffic Accident claims, with typical values ranging from £150,000 to £250,000, alongside more complex and high-profile matters.
Working closely with experienced senior lawyers, you will benefit from direct mentoring, excellent technical development and genuine opportunities for progression within a growing national practice.
Handling a full multi track caseload
You will manage your own caseload of multi-track RTA claims while assisting on larger and more complex matters where required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing litigated multi-track motor claims from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documentation
- Instructing counsel and expert witnesses
- Attending case management conferences, settlement discussions and strategic reviews
- Analysing medical, engineering and liability evidence
- Advising insurer clients on litigation strategy, liability and quantum issues
- Collaborating with senior lawyers on complex and high-value claims
- Building and maintaining strong insurer client relationships
- Supporting business development and client engagement initiatives
Ideal experience and background
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors (1+ PQE) who can demonstrate:
- Experience handling RTA litigation matters
- Exposure to multi-track claims (preferred), although strong fast-track experience will also be considered
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent case management abilities
- A commercial and strategic approach to litigation
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- A collaborative and proactive mindset
Both claimant and defendant backgrounds will be considered.
