PERSONAL INJURY SOLICITOR EL/PL – MANCHESTER

Personal Injury Solicitor – An NQ solicitor with proven employer’s liability and public liability experience is sought by this leading Manchester large loss team. The ideal candidate will come from a defendant background, though claimant experience will also be considered.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Personal Injury Solicitor / Associate (NQ +)
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £35,000 – £38,000
• Reports to: Partner / Head of Department
• Previous experience: NQ Solicitor – Proven litigated EL/PL experience preferably from a defendant background. PQE is given as an indication only and application from more experienced solicitors are encouraged. Large loss experience is not required.

OWN CASELOAD AND ASSISTING ON COMPLEX WORK

The successful candidate will handle and assist on a range of complex high value multi track work. The team acts for a range of household name insurers as well as self-insured clients. The way the team is structured means that lawyers tend to focus on building relationships with a particular client and servicing that client’s litigated EL/PL work across the board. This means that relationships are particularly strong which is good for both client and law firm.

The right candidate will naturally have strong academics and will have gained experience from a reputable firm, but what will make the difference is cultural fit.
