File handler or Paralegal – This leading National law firm looking to significantly expand its motor fraud team which is a clear market leader in terms of of size, client-base and reputation.

- Previous experience: Handling suspected RTA fraud case load.

The role of a File Handler is to investigate and resolve litigated cases where there is suspicion that the files are fraudulent. The successful candidate will work on a delegated & non-delegated case reporting to clients. Key duties include:
- Identifying opportunities for strategic litigation
- Advise on potential recovery and enforcement in appropriate cases
- Show willingness and ability to identify and escalate cases
- Consider and advise on the position of indemnity and appropriate case law
- Undertake key investigations in accordance with identified fraud and regularly review strategy
The ideal applicant
The team is looking for a talented and technical Paralegal or File Handler with an established career in civil litigation claims handling. You will be suited to this role if you have:
- An understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes
- High level of analytical skills
- Knowledge of the litigation process
- Good advocacy skills
- Good client care skills.
