Paralegal / Litigation Executive / Claims Handler – Personal Injury – Birmingham
The team handles litigated delegated authority EL/PL work. The team acts for major insurers and attracts work across a number of sectors including retail and manufacturing as well as public sector. There are two opportunities available. Ideally, candidates should have EL/PL experience though the Partners are prepared to look at a broader skillset such as RTA, for example.

- Job Title: Paralegal / Litigation Executive
- Location: Birmingham
- Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
- Work pattern: Hybrid
- Term: Permanent
- Reports to: Partner
- Previous experience: Claimant or defendant EL/PL experience would be ideal, but the Partners are willing to look broader at other skill sets such as RTA.
A thriving EL/PL team
Paralegals or Litigation Executives with litigated experience will handle litigated work including small claims and fast track as well as some multi track. There will also be opportunities to support more experienced fee earners on other more complex cases.
As a guide, the role will involve:
- Handling litigated EL/PL cases from ‘cradle to grave’.
- Reviewing evidence and assessing initial view of the case
- Instructing Counsel
- Performing legal research as required
- Dealing with any routine correspondence
- Liaising with the various parties of a given case
