Legal Director – Real Estate
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate lawyer to join a highly regarded commercial property practice in at a Global firm at Legal Director level.

Working Pattern: Hybrid
Salary: Up to £100,000
The team advises a diverse client base of developers, investors, businesses, social housing providers, educational institutions, charities and public sector organisations. There is a particular strength in development work, advising throughout the lifecycle of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.
You will take a senior role within the Manchester practice, leading complex transactions, managing key client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the team. The position combines high-quality fee-earning work with supervision, business development and the opportunity to play an influential role in the future direction of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and asset management matters
- Advising developers on residential, commercial and mixed-use development projects
- Handling investment, funding and landlord and tenant matters
- Drafting and negotiating leases, agreements for lease, transfers and associated property documentation
- Managing and developing relationships with key clients
- Supervising and mentoring Associates, junior lawyers and trainees
- Playing an active role in business development and the continued growth of the Real Estate practice
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with significant commercial real estate experience
- Strong technical background across a broad range of property transactions
- Development experience is particularly desirable, with exposure to acting for developers and/or investors
- Comfortable leading sophisticated matters and managing client relationships independently
- Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers
- Commercial, pragmatic and confident in dealing directly with clients
- Strong business development skills with an interest in helping grow the Manchester practice
