Experience – who they are looking to attract
Ideally the hiring managers are looking to attract developers with a range of technical experience including:
- C#, MVC 4 and upwards, EF
- RESTful services, Web API
- JavaScript & JQuery
- Frontend frameworks – React, Angular or equivalent
- .NET Core and EF Core
- SQL Server 2016 and upwards
- Microservices architecture
- SOLID principles, Software design patterns
- XUnit, MSTest, Specflow, JMeter
- An understanding of Build and Release pipelines in Azure DevOps (CI/CD)

More about the role
The role involves a range of exciting work from being heavily involved in the development and support of the company’s key proprietary applications to getting involved and experimenting with new technologies. The team has been set up with a focus on developing innovative solutions to often complex issues so expect to be stretched and challenged.
The team develops applications within a Scrum Agile Framework and so previous experience in this regard would be useful. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate strong experience of test-driven development and automated testing and deployments.
Leadership qualities
As well as proven technical experience, the team is also looking for candidates with strong mentoring and leadership qualities who are keen to develop more junior, less experienced developers.
