We are working with a legal practice seeking a Head of Department to lead its motor finance claims team.
The department handles claims arising from car finance agreements where customers may not have been told about commission paid to dealers. It operates at significant scale, with established systems for managing a high volume of claims.
 
This is an opportunity to lead the team, maintain the quality of its work and help shape its next stage of development.
 
The role
You will take responsibility for the department’s people, legal work and day-to-day performance. Working with the wider leadership team, you will develop effective processes, support and develop colleagues, and ensure clients receive a consistent service as the caseload evolves.
 
About you
You will bring experience in consumer claims or litigation, alongside the judgement and leadership skills needed to run a busy department. Experience of motor finance claims would be valuable, as would a strong understanding of how to deliver quality legal work at volume.
