Costs Negotiator / Draftsperson – A leading costs team, based in Liverpool, is looking for an experienced costs fee earner to strengthen the costs department. The role will focus mainly on RTA and EL/PL costs work and offers a fantastic route for career progression.

This is an established team based in the heart of Liverpool, though offering hybrid / flexible working. The department works on costs files from all manor of client including major insurers and corporate entities particularly in the leisure and retail sectors. The team also undertakes a good deal of public sector work. The work ranges from fast track to multi track and large loss matters, offering the candidate real scope to develop their experience.
There are also opportunities to progress to team leading and operational roles within the department. The pace of growth means that opportunites to develop and take a step up are numerous.
The team also works with the best IT and law tech to ensure fee earners enjoy access to state-of-the-art tool to enable them to focus their time on what they do best.
Ideal applicants – proven EL/PL and RTA costs experience.
The hiring managers wish to see proof of experience in EL/PL and RTA costs work including demonstrable experience of preparing Points of Dispute and considering replies. Candidates may come from either a claimant or defendant background with excellent communication skills.
