Costs Negotiator / Draftsperson- The growing costs team of this Manchester-based defendant insurance litigation firm is looking to hire a Costs Negotiator to handle an exciting mix of costs works relating specifically to clinical negligence / healthcare litigation work.

- Reports to: Personal Injury Partner and Head of Costs
- Previous Experience: Proven experience of handling a range of complex costs matters. Any experience of clinical negligence / healthcare litigation would be highly useful.
COMPLEX COSTS INCLUDING CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE
Our client is a leading defendant insurance litigation firm with a national presence and a well-established healthcare litigation practice. They act for major NHS healthcare trusts as well as private healthcare companies.
They are currently looking to further expand the costs team in Manchester and are looking for experienced costs professionals with proven experience of healthcare work especially clinical negligence areas such as birth injury eg cerebral palsy, spina bifida etc.
BROAD RANGE OF WORK WITH OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVOCACY
Broad spread of experience whether drafting bills of costs and costs budgets or negotiating and settling costs matters. Technical ability is paramount. There is also the opportunity to gain exposure to advocacy work.
The successful candidate will manage a broad and varied caseload including higher value, complex work.
