A leading commercial law firm is looking to recruit an ambitious Corporate Associate to join its expanding London Corporate team specialising in Equity Capital Markets, Public M&A and Listed Company Advisory.
This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career within a collaborative team acting for UK and international listed companies across the full corporate lifecycle, working closely with experienced partners on sophisticated and high-profile transactions.
Broad range of premium quality work
The team advises on a wide variety of public company matters including:
- Initial Public Offerings (IPOs)
- Secondary fundraisings
- Placings, open offers and rights issues
- UK and cross-border public takeovers
- Schemes of arrangement
- Listed company governance
- Takeover Code matters
- Main Market and AIM advisory work
- Ongoing regulatory, disclosure and compliance matters
The practice combines first-class technical expertise with pragmatic commercial advice and acts for clients across sectors including technology, retail, consumer, biotech, telecommunications, mining and energy.
Genuine responsibility from day one
You’ll enjoy significant client contact and early responsibility, with opportunities to:
- Advise listed companies on complex transactional and regulatory matters
- Work on UK and international public M&A transactions
- Lead aspects of ECM transactions from inception to completion
- Draft key transaction documentation and market announcements
- Develop trusted relationships with boards, management teams and institutional stakeholders
- Play an active role in business development
- Mentor and support junior lawyers

About you
Applications are invited from solicitors who are:
- England & Wales qualified
- Approximately 4-6 years’ PQE
- Experienced in one or more of:
- Equity Capital Markets
- Public M&A
- Listed company advisory
- Takeover Code matters
- Main Market and/or AIM transactions
- Commercially minded with excellent drafting and technical skills
- Comfortable managing client relationships and taking responsibility for complex matters
- Keen to develop their profile within a growing Corporate practice
