Landmark Group “Landmark” – Compliance and Risk Officer – An exciting opportunity has arisen with this growing property investment and asset management firm for an astute and commercial compliance professional. With an insurance portfolio of well over £1.5bn and an investment portfolio covering over 1,000 sites nationwide, Landmark is an established and trusted operator in the market. The new role reports directly to the Board and will cover a range of key compliance and risk management facets, both internal and external to the business, as well as helping to improve general operational efficiency across the group.

THE ROLE – BROADER THAN EXTERNAL REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE
The role is varied and relates to both internal and external compliance, covering the company’s own standards and requirements as well as those of external bodies. Because of the nature of the business, much of the regulatory and compliance matters have an asset management focus: primarily health & safety, fire risks, insurance, building regulations etc.
Duties may also involve promoting and providing training on regulatory developments as well as implementing new policies and procedures. Furthermore, the successful candidate will help to support and improve general day to day operational efficiency across the group. In short, the role has the potential to expand and evolve with the business and the right individual will be afforded an opportunity to carve a key position within the firm with fantastic opportunities for progression.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – COMMERCIAL, PRAGMATIC, PROACTIVE
The management team is looking for someone who is commercial, pragmatic and proactive with a keen eye for detail and with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ideally you will have prior experience of working in a compliance role within the property and real estate sector or another financial services institution.
