Work can involve everything from advising in relation to ownership structures and sale and purchase agreements to more commercial matters such as charter contracts operation, repair and refit agreements as well as the recycling of different types of vessels. The work also involves advising on contracts in relation to offshore projects eg involving everything from wind turbine to oil rigs.
Key skills and attributes
Genuine passion for this area of work. The team is looking for people with a real interest in the marine / shipping sector. Ideally candidates should have previous experience of this area of practice. Strong commercial experience is crucial with an eye for cutting to the heart of any matter.
