- Previous Experience: Solid ‘bread-and-butter’ commercial experience including general commercial contacts eg distribution agreements, franchise agreements, joint ventures, supply of goods and services and outsourcing.
Commercial Solicitor – brief introduction to opportunity
The London team of this leading national firm is looking to recruit a commercial solicitor with ideally 3 PQE +.
The firm is a leading national practice with a recognised commercial presence advising a spread of SME to large national businesses and PLCs. They are currently engaged in a significant campaign to grow their London offering further.
Snapshot of work undertaken by team
Examples of recent instructions include:
- Advising national leisure business on the commercial legalities surrounding sale of tickets online and related payments.
- Advising an established manufacturing and supply business on the redrafting of its core terms and conditions
- Advising on a well-known sports and leisurewear brand on a number of licensing agreements with high-profile licensors.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong drafting and negotiating skills in relation to a varied spread of commercial contracts from supply and distribution contracts, to outsourcing arrangements and complex franchise agreements.
