Commercial Solicitor – Life Sciences team – This leading commercial team with a specialist focus on the Life Sciences sector is looking for a Commercial Associate or Senior Associate to add further strength to their offering.

- Previous Experience: Previous experience of the life sciences sector would be a major advantage. In particular, advising clients throughout the product life cycle. Experience of advising on intellectual property issues, collaboration arrangements and other aspects relating to commercialisation.
More about the role
Commercial lawyers within the Life Sciences team advising and negotiating on a broad range of contracts including:
- NDAs
- Collaboration agreements
- Research and development contracts
- Supply and distribution contracts
- Other agreements throughout the product lifecycle relating to the commercialisation of a given product or patent etc.
The role also involves advising on the full gamut of IP and IT agreements as well as issues around data protection.

Clients range from blue-chip pharma companies to universities involved in the latest cutting edge research in the life sciences sector. The team has a fantastic reputation and has advised on some of the most groundbreaking work.
Ideal candidate
- Minimum of 2 PQE.
- Previous experience in the life sciences sector is not absolutely necessary, but you should certainly have a genuine interest in this field and demonstrate real enthusiasm for the work.
- Bright, engaging with a ‘commercial’ and practical approach to problem solving.
