Solicitor – Commercial
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Associate to join a highly regarded Health Commercial team advising clients across the healthcare, life sciences and public sectors.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a nationally recognised team on a broad range of commercial, technology, procurement and data protection matters. You’ll advise NHS organisations, independent healthcare providers, health technology businesses and national public sector bodies on complex and innovative projects, while benefiting from excellent client exposure and responsibility from an early stage.

Location: Leeds or Newcastle
Salary: Up to £62,000
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including framework agreements, technology contracts, licensing arrangements and data protection documentation.
- Advising on innovative commercial projects including joint ventures, collaboration agreements and strategic partnerships.
- Supporting NHS and independent healthcare clients on commercial, regulatory and governance matters.
- Advising on data protection, data sharing arrangements, international transfers and wider information governance issues.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial contracts, technology and/or data protection.
- Experience advising healthcare or public sector clients would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Commercially minded with strong drafting and communication skills.
