COMMERCIAL INSURANCE LITIGATION SENIOR ASSOCIATE – MANCHESTER

Commercial Insurance Litigation / Professional Indemnity Senior Associate – A new role has arisen for a Senior Associate with a strong background in professional indemnity and / or general commercial insurance. This is a relatively new team working with one of the Equity Partners in the Manchester office.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

• Job title: Senior Associate
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £55,000 + (salary range is open to attract the best candidate)
• Reports to: Equity Partner
• Previous Experience: Proven experience in commercial insurance litigation work or general commercial litigation. The team advises on all manner of disputes whether product liability, property liability as well as construction related disputes. Professional indemnity experience also welcome.

BROAD RANGE OF WORK

This is a relatively new team within the Manchester office of this global firm. The team has a particular focus on commercial insurance disputes including professional indemnity. The department is often involved in complex construction disputes and well as property liability matters and advises insurers of major surveyor firms, construction companies and property management firms.

The team is further developing a specialism in IT related disputes and data breaches.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

The team is looking for candidates with real experience of ‘black letter’ litigation. They are willing to consider commercial litigators or those with professional indemnity experience. Those with a product liability or professional indemnity background are also encouraged to apply.

The team is looking for a Senior Associate and the salary has been kept open to attract the best possible applicant.
