Competition Solicitor – London
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Competition Litigation Solicitor to join one of the UK’s largest and most highly regarded disputes practices in London.

Competition litigation is a core and growing area of the practice, with the team acting on significant standalone and follow-on competition damages claims as well as collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT). The work is frequently high-profile, cutting-edge and international in nature.
You will work directly with experienced Partners and alongside a wider team of commercial disputes specialists, taking meaningful responsibility for matters with appropriate support. While competition litigation will form the core of the role, there will also be opportunities to gain exposure to broader commercial and banking disputes.
The Work
- Acting on both the claimant and defendant side of complex competition damages actions
- Working on standalone and follow-on competition claims
- Advising on collective proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal
- Handling complex litigation in the CAT and High Court
- Working alongside economists, counsel and other external specialists to develop case strategy
- Supporting high-profile disputes, many of which involve international or cross-border elements
- Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities for new competition litigation mandates
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with around 3+ PQE
- Strong previous experience in competition litigation
- Experience of complex competition disputes, ideally including damages claims and/or collective proceedings
- Strong technical ability combined with a commercial and strategic approach to litigation
- Confident building relationships and communicating directly with sophisticated clients
- Collaborative approach and an interest in supporting the development of junior lawyers
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development and growing your profile within the competition disputes market
